Project Engineer - Travel Role (Over 50%)
Growing industrial organization seeking a Project Engineer to support capital projects across multiple manufacturing and processing facilities. This role will lead projects from concept through execution, partnering with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage capital projects from design through startup and commissioning.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
- Provide technical support for equipment installations, process improvements, and facility upgrades.
- Monitor project performance and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 3-10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial, chemical, refining, energy, or related industries.
- Experience managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel more than 50% to support projects across multiple sites.
Preferred Locations: Louisiana, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
