EHS&S Manager

We are seeking an experienced EHS&S Manager with strong environmental compliance expertise, particularly in air quality regulations, to lead safety and environmental programs within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with plant leadership to ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a proactive and sustainable safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance programs with a focus on air permitting, emissions reporting, and regulatory compliance with EPA and state requirements.
• Manage air compliance requirements, including Title V permits, emissions tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
• Oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs.
• Lead site emergency response planning and preparedness initiatives.
• Conduct compliance audits, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
• Ensure compliance with waste management, water quality, and chemical handling regulations.
• Develop and deliver training programs while promoting best practices in safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of air regulations, permitting requirements, and emissions compliance.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, and process safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs and influence a positive safety culture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or ASP (Associate Safety Professional) certification.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or facilities subject to PSM/RMP requirements.
• Familiarity with emissions monitoring systems, environmental reporting tools, and compliance audits.
