Expansions and new plant construction continue to drive an excellent job market. There is hiring activity across a wide section of job titles and we have as diverse groups of open jobs that we have ever had. Despite the demand, companies are selective to find an engineer with product and process knowledge and the right overall experience fit as much as possible. Salaries increases are staying in the modest to good range. The salary spike that was driven by the oil/gas hiring boom a few years ago has not repeated itself so far even in this good market.
