Excellent company to work for. We placed the hiring manager here 4 years ago in this role and they were recently promoted to Group Leader. Focus on Air Media compliance with state and federal regulations and environmental permitting at a large and diverse chemical plant in the East Houston area. Take ownership of Air related programs such as HON, MON, NSPS and serve as the technical subject matter expert in these areas for assigned areas of the plant. Our client is a major chemical company and is very strong in EHS compliance and excellence. They are also very focused on reliability of their operations and have an excellent track record of onstream time. - Maintaining ownership of assigned programs such as Title V, HON, MON, NSPS.
- Interacting with plant personnel and provide a consistent understanding of regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with agencies during inspections and for regulatory reporting
- Completing and submitting environmental reports to state and federal agencies
- Interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements
- Developing (or assist in development) and maintaining environmental management systems,
- Mentoring junior environmental professionals
- Representing the site in trade organizations and best practice groups
- Develop and/or manage compliance systems.
- Apply your knowledge of MACT and Texas Regulations to large scale petrochemical units
- BS CHE, BS Engineering or BS Sciences with 7+ years of experience and a knowledge of Texas Air regs.
