This position plays a key role in developing and supporting large-scale power systems that enable next-generation computing and industrial facilities.
Support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of medium-voltage electrical systems used in advanced energy and data infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with protection relays, controls, switchgear, and commissioning field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and test protection relays, breakers, and control systems for MV equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical protection and control systems in active field environments
- Support commissioning of new generation and distribution assets
- Assist engineering with as-built documentation and schematic development
- Conduct field testing, equipment verification, and provide technical support to operations
- Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- 2–10 years of experience in power generation, distribution, or substation environments
- Proficient with protection relays, CT/PT circuits, and MV switchgear
- Solid understanding of control logic, schematics, and field troubleshooting practices
- Experience with PLCs, generator controllers, or power management systems preferred
- Working knowledge of NEC and NETA testing standards
- Strong communication, documentation, and field leadership skills
