Provide instrumentation and controls support to chemical production units and packaging areas that rely heavily on PLCs. This will focus on the reliability and modernization of the PLC systems and will also cover the SIS. Stable employer that is an industry leader. This is a newly created role with a stable and expanding chemical producer.
Optimize and troubleshoot PLC’s throughout the site
Design, develop and implement PLC’s and HMI
Program and configure Allen-Bradley PLC equipment
Manage and troubleshoot safety instrumented systems (SIS)
Develop and maintain long term migration plans
Understand plant specific requirements and ensure technical compatibility with devices
Conduct root cause failure analysis
Support capital projects involving PLC’s and SIS
