Environmental Team Leader and Air Permitting Lead
Provide overall Environmental leadership to an east Houston hydrocarbon facility and oversee a small capable staff. You will take a lead role in the air media. Collaborative work environment with good support for the environmental program. The company is evaluating different processes and technologies and maintaining a flexible air permit is crucial. Due to the capabilities of the staff, they will consider candidates with minimal previous supervisory experience.
- Manage Air Permitting needs at the federal and state level
- Focus on renewing air permits to maintain operational flexibility
- Manage Air Permitting contractors assisting on the Air Permit renewals
- Consult with business development/project teams on Air Permit impacts on the business
- Develop plans to reduce GHG.
- Manage Air issues around Title V, NSR, PBR
- Oversee a manage staff
- Support the RMP plan and audits
- Develop and implement environmental programs
Requires a BS Degree in Engineering or Sciences and high level of expertise in Air Permitting within the chemical or refining industries.
