Baton Rouge Area
Serve as the main project engineering resource for a chemical plant in the Baton Rouge area. Manage the CAPEX budget that ranges from $5 to $15 million per year. This site makes products that go into a wide variety of markets, so it tends to be stable through all business cycles. This role will be replacing an Engineer who is retiring.
- Develop project scopes in conjunction with operations and maintenance
- Initiate cost estimates and manage costs
- Manage Engineering Firms
- Coordinate design, engineering, construction
- Own and manage the project stage gate process
- Install projects, train operations personnel
- Develop and manage a 5-year site improvement plan
