As a Process Control Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of automation, instrumentation, and safety instrument systems (SIS) within an industrial manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for an engineer with expertise in chemical process control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process control and automation efforts, ensuring safe and efficient operation of experimental and scale-up processes.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA platforms.
- Maintain and optimize Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
- Collaborate with R&D, process development, and operations teams
- Specify and commission instrumentation, control valves, and automation hardware.
- Develop and maintain control logic, loop tuning, and system documentation.
- Support HAZOPs, LOPAs, and other process safety assessments related to controls and automation.
- Provide technical mentorship and oversight to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
BS CHE, EE and 7+ years of experience
Must have experience with DCS , SIS, and PLC’s in a continuous process (chemicals, pharma, refining etc)
