Environmental Manager
Our client is a global leader in the chemical industry that has been building plants and buying plants in the US. They continue to grow and innovate. This role will cover 5 sites in the US with the majority being in Houston. You will have the opportunity to impact the culture and environmental program at multiple sites. 9/80 schedule and a nice profit share plan. This role reports to an EHS Director in Houston.
- Provide overall Environmental Leadership for compliance and permitting support to 5 small chemical plants
- Supervise 6 several environmental specialists that are on staff at the sites.
- Coach, develop and grow the environmental team
- Manage and develop compliance strategies that drive continuous improvement
- Use technology and digital transformation to streamline the environmental program
- Follow the KPI's - Monitor and track performance
- Develop the annual budget
- Collaborate with Health and Safety Teams for synergy of programs
- Develop risk management plans and emergency response plans
- 10 years of overall experience with 2 plus years in leadership roles
- Requires a BS in Engineering or Sciences.
- Profit share is a consistent 20% each year
