Opportunity to take ownership of the EHS program at a small and well-run chemical manufacturing site. 4 years with no OSHA recordables. If you like being out in the plant working with people and have a passion for EHS, this job is ideal for you. The EHS program will be yours to run!
- Be a proactive presence in the plant to facilitate the behavioral safety program
- Oversee Process Safety Compliance (PSM), participate in PHA’s and MOC’s
- Obtain, renew, and comply with environmental permits
- Uphold EHS policies and procedures to meet corporate standards and compliance requirements
- Develop strategies to improve EHS performance and reduce risks
- Ensure EHS training programs are compliant and consistent
- Reports to the Corporate Safety Manager who is not onsite, and it has a dotted line to Site Manager.
