Controls Engineer (Power & Gas Systems)
Controls Engineer opportunity to support automation and control systems across power generation and natural gas processing operations. This role focuses heavily on designing, optimizing, and supporting real-time control environments tied to critical energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance control strategies for power generation and gas processing systems
• Support troubleshooting and performance optimization of control/automation equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement system improvements
• Assist with commissioning, testing, and ongoing system reliability
• Maintain clear technical documentation and provide cross-functional support
What We’re Looking For
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in controls/automation within power or gas environments
• Strong experience with PLCs, structured text, or embedded programming (C/C++)
• Hands-on experience with industrial control systems and real-time operations
• Solid communication and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have
• Experience with protection relays, SCADA, or power management systems
• Familiarity with common PLC platforms and generator control systems
• Understanding of electrical systems, protection schemes, and industry standards
