Shutdown Manager #1208
Location: Wyoming
Salary Range: $85K to $110K
Responsibilities:
Deliver cost competitive shutdown support services to all North American Plants. This role will include all planning, execution and commissioning of all shutdown/TA opportunities nationwide. This role will require the determination of methodology and implementation of systems to give the ability for repeatable performance.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, and have the ability to train staff and contractors in statutory and company compliance.
- Management and completion of shutdowns at all major plant sites as required; up to 50% travel.
- Planning, organizing and controlling resources and systems to successfully achieve shutdown implementation.
- Utilize project management tools to ensure shutdown work scopes are defined and budgets are set and met.
- Effectively utilizing cost control and reporting systems.
- Actively implement initiatives to reduce fixed costs.
- Develop and implement the most appropriate shutdown methodology for each type of shutdown to give repeatable performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, BS ChE, or BS ME preferred.
- 5+ years experience in shutdown project management in either a chemical or petro-chemical industry.
- Must have excellent communication skills to interface with all levels of management and outside contractors
- Ability to professionally prepare work scopes and other documents.
