Safety Engineer #1181
LOCATION: Kansas
COMPENSATION: Base salary range is 80K to 100K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct all contractor safety efforts in plant.
- Provide support and expertise in the areas of construction safety, plant safety, radiation safety, and behavioral safety.
- Competent in hazard recognition and mitigation.
- Provide support in Industrial Hygiene and safety training within the plant.
- Assist in trend analysis, procedural review and development.
- Provide support and expertise in the areas of workers compensation, engineering review, and auditing review.
- Fulfill requirements within Emergency Response Organization, Emergency Response Team, and department on-call list.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a safety related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in an industrial plant setting (preferably refining, petrochemical, or chemical industry preferred).
