Project Engineer #1042
Location: New York
Salary Range: 80-95k plus profit share
Description:
Our client is a leader in the mineral processing and refining industry. They are currently seeking an experienced project engineer who can work with a team to help implement improvement projects across all business units. You will gain exposure to multiple process units in a variety of plant locations throughout the eastern United States. You will play an active role in manufacturing improvement, identifying problems, designing and conducting analysis studies, forming conclusions, and helping to implement change. You will have the potential to be based from home for the first 2-3 years while the projects are being implemented. You would travel to the sites each week to develop and manage projects. After 2 – 3 years you will potentially be relocated to Michigan, New York, or Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Work with fellow team members and consultants to assess plant performance and implement new projects.
- Analyze data on plant performance in order to find improvement opportunities
- Work with site personnel to ensure successful implementation of projects
- Drive project completion
- Develop presentation materials for multiple audiences
Requirements:
- BS ChE, ME, or EE
- 3+ years experience in a plant environment with previous project engineering experience
- Ability to travel- you will travel each week to the plant site
