Production Manager #1337
Location: Midwest
Compensation: $90K to $120K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide overall leadership to the units and direction for personnel as well as directing the activities of support groups such as maintenance, project engineering, environmental compliance, and safety compliance.
- Ensure all personnel, activities, operations, management systems, policies and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations and Corporate policies, programs and initiatives.
- Drive EHS and PSM improvements and compliance
- Develop, implement, and improve standard operating procedures, standard operation conditions and personal and process safety systems and procedures
- Ability to drive Global Operations Programs, and create “buy in” from site personnel.
- Ability to work and successfully interact with all levels of the organization, including operators, craftspeople, engineers, other managers, and corporate resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 10 or more years of experience in petrochemicals and/or chemical industries, preferably in batch processing
- Knowledge of unit operations involving reaction, distillation, utilities, environmental controls, and heat exchange.
- Position reports to the Site Manager of Plant.
