Production Engineer/Supervisor #1081 and 1083
Location: Chemical Plant in Baton Rouge area
Salary: 80 – 100k
Our client is seeking a Production Engineer who can supervise and direct production operators and process technicians in a modern chemical plant in the Baton Rouge area. The production engineer will be responsible for optimizing production metrics while maintaining environmental and safety performance. The Assistant Production Superintendent will be the backfill for the Superintendent and will run the unit in his absence. You will also be expected to help develop and train production personnel. Additional duties: project reviews, coordinate maintenance schedules, generate weekly and monthly operating reports, quality stewardship, lead waste minimization and production enhancement projects and programs; maintain the monthly energy report and seek ways of reducing consumption.
