Process Improvement Engineer #1273
Location: Beaumont/Port Arthur, TX

Our client is a leading petrochemical company.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Identify projects with Business Teams to improve the overall profitability of operating units.
- Lead process improvements or capital improvements that will increase production, reduce energy usage, optimize unit economics, reduce operating costs, and reduce by-products/off-spec production.
- Conduct process scope development for capital projects (justifications, conceptual design, etc.). Review proposed capital work for technical feasibility and operability.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling of the operating areas.
- Participate on Six Sigma teams to evaluate and implement identified projects
- Participate in Process Safety Management, and the plant Behavior Based Safety Process.
- Assist in the development and utilization of KPIs. Identify and work on process improvements using Six Sigma methodology.
- Provide support in development of unit operating procedures and standard operation conditions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10 or more years of experience
