Process Engineer #1274
Location: Beaumont/Port Arthur, TX

Our client is a leading petrochemical company.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Responsible for providing technical support to operations on a day-to-day basis in order to meet production goals by maximizing production yield, optimizing utilities consumption, etc.
- Provides support in the development of standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for identifying improvements and developing conceptual scope in facility to support business strategy, and involved in production quality processes.
- Provides specific unit expertise to Project Engineering group as needed, and provide technical support to all plant EH&S initiatives.
- Participates in PSM unit revalidations and project HAZOPs as required.
- Responsible for selection of specific products (catalyst, inhibitors, etc.)
- Serves as team member on all Six Sigma projects for assigned units, and participates in Six Sigma Green Belt training and serves as Green Belt for unit improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience is required
- Six Sigma training would be beneficial but not required
