Process Control Engineer #1095

Our client is a large refining organization that is underway on a large controls systems/instrumentation upgrade project. They are seeking a Process Control Engineer who would like to work on control systems modernization efforts across the refinery units. This will include working as on Optimization and Asset Management Teams to insure a comprehensive controls and safety system strategy for the units. You will Identify, design and implement DCS and APC applications and follow through as they are implemented in the refinery. The refinery is engaged in a large equipment upgrade at the DCS /SIS/APC level and there will be opportunities to commission, tune, and troubleshoot new DCS and DMC applications. You will also support software and hardware troubleshooting and development as well as systems configuration. This position will also include working with MOC’s, HAZOPS and will conduct root cause failure analysis.
Requirements:
A BS CHE and 3 + years of process control experience are required.
Our client prefers knowledge of Honeywell/Experion, Foxboro and Emerson Delta V applications in refining and petrochemical plant optimization.
