Lead Environmental Engineer #1240
LOCATION: South Texas
COMPENSATION: Base salary range is competitive
Our client is a leading refining and chemicals company who has gradually expanded its operations through capital projects and acquisitions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight and general assistance to operations personnel as an environmental advisor.
- Track key compliance metrics and implement systems to improve performance.
- Conduct compliance audits and develop strategies for improvement.
- Participate in environmental training of plant employees.
- Will be Level 2/3 on-call for environmental incidents.
- Responsible for accurate and timely agency reporting, and manage record keeping for regulatory focus areas to meet all mandated deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Engineering or Environmental Science
- Minimum of 10 years of environmental compliance.
- Must have previous supervisory experience of direct reports.
- Prior experience with environmental regulations and compliance programs within the State of Texas.
