I&E Reliability Engineer #1272

Location: Beaumont/Port Arthur, TX

Our client is a leading petrochemical company.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Develops maintenance job procedures as required and ensure a consistent review process in maintained.
  • Responsible for applying proactive reliability processes (criticality ranking, bad actor focus, root cause failure analysis, reliability centered maintenance) to ensure long term reliability.
  • Possess strength in hands on troubleshooting daily instrument and electrical issues.
  • Defines appropriate condition monitoring of operating equipment and audits performance, and optimizes equipment spare parts and predictive/preventive maintenance practices to ensure required reliability at lower cost.
  • Provides technical assistance for critical work in progress and for scope development for regular and shutdown maintenance, as well as plant projects.
  • Demonstrated competence in electrical equipment (high voltage systems, power distribution, motors, UPS systems, etc.) and control system equipment (control valves, transmitters, pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, PLC/DCS, etc.)
  • Maintain a working knowledge of SIS systems & ISA 84.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 7 or more years of instrumentation experience is required
