Our client has recently been acquired in a joint venture with a large international oil company. They have created a new position for an environmental compliance engineer. The main focus of this position will be Title V air quality permitting. This position is an excellent opportunity for an environmental engineer that likes to get out of the office and into the plant. You will get the opportunity to work directly with operations in a “hands on” environment.
Responsibilities:
- Title V air quality permitting
- Emissions inventories and TRI
- Tracking air permits
- Track key compliance metrics and implement systems to improve performance.
- Conduct compliance audits and develop strategies for improvement
- Participate in environmental training of plant employees
Requirements:
- BS ChE
- 3+ years refinery or chemical plant experience
