Economics and Planning Engineer #1045

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Our client is a vertically integrated oil company that owns and operates three refineries within the US. They have been supplying the Midwest with high quality gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel for nearly a century. Despite their long history, they continue to maintain some of the most up to date facilities in the Midwest. They are currently spending nearly a billion dollars to expand their production.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to develop both short-term and long-term solutions to resolve operating problems and improve profitability.
• thorough understanding of refining process operations and operating variables.
• Utilize data from LP models, Simulation models, and refinery test runs to assist in the evaluation process
• Establish unit throughput, feedstock, blends, and unit margin plans for the refinery
Requirements:
• B.S. Chemical Engineering
• 7+ years of refinery process engineering and planning experience
