Our client is refining company that is undergoing a a large expansion project to significantly expand the capacity of their refinery. They will be completing large scale modernization and expansion projects that will allow them to utilize diverse and cheaper sources of crude oil. They are also gaining access to large amounts of cheaper crude through strategic partnerships that will ensure long term supplies of economical feedstock. They prefer candidates with a refining background but will consider engineers with chemical plant or related experience Due to the growth of the facility our client will be seeking engineers with both fixed and rotating equipment backgrounds. Responsibilities:
- Performing reliability studies on refinery equipment to establish Predictive and Preventative Maintenance strategies
- Conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis and Failure Mode Effects Analysis
- Implementing Best Practices
- Providing technical support to maintenance engineers on fixed and rotating equipment issues
- Providing technical support in the reviewing of plans and specifications to project engineers
- Preparing engineering design packages, Overseeing contractors/consultants on projects
- Corrosion experience a plus
Requirements:
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years fixed or rotating equipment experience in any related industry
