You will serve as the Fired Equipment Engineer for a major facility in the Texas Gulf Coast Area. You will provide daily maintenance and reliability support to plant operations and will build long term reliability improvement strategies for fired equipment and associated systems. The site is expanding and is modern and in good mechanical shape overall. This is the lead role on fired equipment for the site and will play a key role in the site’s overall performance. You will build reliability programs and run fire equipment improvement projects to maximize on stream time and maximize throughput. Serve as site subject matter expert for site Fired Equipment issues and build long range reliability improvement plans
Monitor fired equipment performance and make improvement recommendations
Apply reliability driven analysis techniques to develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance issues
Build a technical support network within the site and within the company
Build and implement a strategic maintenance plan
Apply economic analysis to equipment replacement and reliability oriented projects
BS ME with 5 or more years of experience with fixed equipment (furnaces, boilers, flares, etc).
Strong interpersonal leadership skills are critical for technical issue resolution, mentoring and consensus building.
